French President "Macron" interest in Paris as it burned in the yellow shirt demonstrations

 ... not as much as he cared about the plight of Lebanon and the people of Lebanon - after the explosion of the Beirut Por 

But he did not cry on the burning of Paris. As a French policewoman cried, "Don't burn Paris." Nor, as a French  woman pleaded with the protesters: Kill me and do not burn Paris

If the events of the yellow shirts were during the reign of Charles

 de Gaulle ... he would have addressed the French people, announced a program for reform, put it to a referendum, and pledged his stay in power or resignation, with the approval or rejection of the French people for his program

Let de Gaulle leave power if the people refused.

As for Macron 

As for Macron, Paris was burning, and he was calm, confident, cold.

These demonstrations took place more thane once , not one

Macron is still in power. Clinging to it ! Like the leaders of the --Third World
