لكن بسرعة . عالج ترامب الموقف . وهدهد السعوديين . ولاطفهم واتصل بمحمد بن سلمان - : ولي العهد - -ولم يكتفي بذلك . بل أرسل وزير خارجيته " بومبيو " للقاء الملك سلمان يوم ١٦-١٠-2018 لتنقية الأجواء ..
وهكذا عالج الأزمة بسرعة .. وفي نفس الوقت . حقق وأوصل الرسالة - والتهديد - الذي أراد ايصالها ..
تلك هي البراعة السياسية والبلوماسية ..
وكندا تحتاج الي مثل تلك البراعة . ولو من وزير خارجيتها . الذي كان يجب عليه الاسراع بمعالجة الأزمة التي تسبب فيها سفير كندي ، مع السعودية . قبل أن تتصاعد الأمور . وتصل لأبعاد يصعب السيطرة عليها . وكانت الأزمة سهلة التدارك . لكون المتسبب سفير دولة وليس رئيس الحكومة ولا وزيراً
هكذا هي غابة السياسة . السياسي والدبلوماسي . اذا صفع أو ركل دولة ما - بقصد او بدون قصد - أسرع بالهدهدة ،والربت علي كتف من صفعه ، بمودة ، ويعتذر ، ويتراجع عن تصريحه أو يزعم انه لم يقصد ، او ان التصريح قد أسيء تفسيره ! ويحتضن من صفعه او ركله .. كأن شيئاً لم يحدث ! بينما حدث وحدث ووصلت الرسالة المطلوب تبليغها
تلك هي لعبة السياسية ، وبراعة الدبلوماسية ونعومتها .
وكندا .. كانت تحتاج لمثل تلك المرونة في معالجة أزمتها مع السعودية التي تسبب فيها مجرد رأي أطلقه سفير كندي .. ! . مشكلة صغيرة كان يمكن معالجتها بسرعة وسهولة . لكنها تُركت حتي تفاقمت واستفحلت . ووصلت لقطع العلاقات !.
