The kind, cultured neighbor. She informed me with her vast knowledge about the the Important culcural public places in city Montreal . that an educated person needs to visit
Since I came to Canada (Montreal) I have known many people from inside and outside the current building - and the the last residential building
- their are especially from the Middle East & North Africa - and a young girl friend - a Canadian with a Russian father -.
All of them , most of our outings outside the residence, were to restaurants or to coffee shops
But my cultured golden neighbor (Mrs. Mila), all our going outside the building were to visit an important and upscale cultural places
during our outing, if we needed food or drink - coffee or hot cocoa - It would be on the sidelines of upscale cultural visits
Throughout our neighborhood - 16 years - she never asked me about my religion.. and she never told me about her religion. We never had any conversation at any level about religions
she gave me cassettes of many international ballets - such as
Anna Karenina, Swan Lake, etc. - and international films (such as Napoleon Bonaparte & Queen Elizabeth I)
Now all I can say is: Goodbye, my dearest neighbor... the golden
and kind lady , Mrs Mila
